Infants, Toddlers, Preschoolers, and school age children are welcome. Full time and Part time care is available. Summer care, Special needs, Twins and Multiples welcome also!
We provide all the educational benefits of a school environment (with high Adult to Child ratio) in the comfort of a home setting.
A nutritious breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack are included. There is extensive outside play and opportunities to learn. We have a great curriculum with topics of Bugs and Butterflies, Community Helpers and Me and my Family, just to name a few.
Baby diaries for infants that travel between Wee Care and home provide excellent communication and continuity of care are furnished. Also provided are baby foods and cereals. For the best rest, infants sleep by themselves in bedrooms equipped with their own portacrib and video monitor. All equipment is provided. Of course if your child has a special cuddly they like to sleep with, feel free to bring it.
Every child has cubbies for their belongings. Older children rest on cots that are low to the ground in a area that is quiet and the curtains are drawn. They too have their own bedding and cot.
Children are treated and cherished as unique individuals. To build positive self-esteem children are encouraged to do as much as they can for themselves. One our favorite cheers is "You can do it if you try!" and "You did it! Aren't you proud?!"
Window air conditioners are used during warm months to keep everyone comfortable. Caregivers follow recommended guidelines to prevent the spread of germs to keep the daycare a safe, sanitary and clean environment for the children.
With extensive education and many years of caring for children, many children come here as infants and remain until Kindergarten. Keeping in regular communication with parents, we are proud to hear that children who attended Wee Care are well-rounded and thoroughly prepared for Kindergarten. The team of people (parents, extended family and Wee Care) who were responsible for the care, education, love and parenting have done their job well!
Close bonds and open communication with parents provide a relationship of trust and peace of mind while you are away from your child. You can be assured that we are very observant of what is usual for your child and will notice subtle changes and make you aware of anything that is out of the normal routine.

There are pets in this home. They include a Golden Retriever/mixed breed dog named Casey, and cats named Jesse and Fiona. All are rescues and wonderful with the children. They would never scratch or bite. We have an aquarium with Angel fish with no names. They also don't bite, but Jesse tries to catch a fresh seafood meal regularly!
All parents interested in reserving a spot will be guaranteed it upon receipt of one week deposit and a signed temporary contract.
We will fill out Care4Kids forms and submit monthly paperwork for families who qualify. Some parents have the help of family to pay childcare here and we reimburse the person when Care4Kids is received.
At this table we eat Breakfast, Lunch and Afternoon Snack.
The children do lots of fun and educational activities here. Many children learn to write their name, get their fingers messy in paint, playdough or cooking here. The cabinet in the background is filled with supplies.
We stand by this table to say the Pledge of Alligience, sing the first verse of "God Bless America" and talk about the weather for the day and learn colors, letters and numbers. The books of the day are displayed on the whiteboard.
In this area, children have tea parties, manage a restaurant, learn to be a daddy or mommy someday, cook, clean and have the most wonderful conversations with each other!
Infants love the toys available to them. Of course, they are welcome to play with everything in the room, but it's nice to have special toys just for the wee ones.
We are outside as much as possible!
Most of the yard has a 6-foot privacy fence with a large variety of equipment and toys for the children. There are also shady areas and places to take a break.
We have a roll up fence that we put across the driveway, making it possible for children to ride toys, play basketball and chalk.
There are slides, rocking toys, balls, the cottage, a workbench and mini trampolines.
Family child care is about families. It nurtures familes as well as children. Family child care tends to be relaxed and flexible.
We think of our relationtionship with your family as a triangle with the child on one side, the parents and extended family on the another side and Wee Care on the third side. Communication and committment are the foundation of this relationship. The goals are the successful growth and development of your child.
When you child is enrolled at Wee Care Day Care, you have peace of mind knowing your child is well-cared for and loved while learning.
We look forward to hearing from you. Let Wee Care Day Care be your child's home away from home.
